A couple of years back, The Bouncing Souls played a special acoustic set at Generation Records in NYC as part of Record Store 2009. Matt from Generations asked if I could shoot the performance in the hopes of cutting a promo clip for a future vinyl release.

With no lights, tough angles and a basement so hot we had back focus issues on the close-up cam, my friend Randy and I filmed the entire hour and a half performance.

The promo clips came together and the 11 song vinyl only album The Bouncing Souls: Live At Generation Records was released on Record Store Day 2011.

But I always thought, though rough in form, the full cut of the performance captured that something special that so many people love about The Bouncing Souls. So with that in mind, here it is. Enjoy.
