Great capture- almost could feel the experience of being on stage and playing. Seeing the band in four piece is a real treat- it sounds STRONGER than ever. All members are extraordinary musicians- Ilan is amazing, JMJ is really fitting in excellently. Robin is my all time favorite. Trent does the multi-duties of voc/keys/gtr and everything else effortlessly, as if he wasn't blinking. Thank you Rob for sharing.

yes please. this is an awesome perspective on the whole performance. i love getting a sense of how WE (the audience) look to the band when we're out there digging the show. how the hell do you stay out of the way though? that has to be really difficult - at least at the beginning of the tour while everyone's getting their moves worked out. :)

Was at this (awesome) show. My bud and I noticed the 5D as soon as Rob brought it out. (I just bought one too recently tho I haven't even shot a single vid with it... yet). Seeing the quality of this video in a highly volatile live environment - really gets my juices flowing. Can't wait to shoot vid with it too...

oh man - sweet! Burn is so high energy! love the on-stage perspective.
edit the crowd out though - they scare me. Seem to be unaffected zombies. really scary for such an adrenaline pumping, kickass song.
  •
  • esmerelda 2 years ago
I was at the show and us unaffected zombies were trying to look pretty for the cameras. I remember moshing a bit but i was just to busy taking it all in, the greatness of trent and company. you're just jealous cos you weren't there hahaha.

    Amazing camera work!!
  •
  • keith epstein 2 years ago
great song and performance but the real gem is the camera this was shot on!!! the new canon is a digital SLR that now shots video and by the looks of it super sick quality with no additional lights. that set up could have been a pain in the ass in a regular professional HD set up. sweet!!! check out red rock for some rigs for that same camera <3 i am truly impressed with the whole thing!!!!
