The Charter of the World Health Organisation has defined public health as ‘A state of complete physical, mental and social/spiritual well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.’
In order to promote the same, today the humble beginning was made in this direction keeping in view the message of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, “Man should understand that he is not merely the body, but a combination of Body, Mind and Spirit.”
The wellness centre is proposed to be constructed in the next 5-6 months under the auspices of the Sri Sathya Sai Trust, Maharashtra and Goa.
From the day when the new building is ready, a team of experienced trainers, counselors, guides, lecturers and trained Sai Sevaks shall provide the requisite wellness treatment to anyone on no charge or fee basis, irrespective of religion, stature, caste, creed, gender and nationality.
The therapies that shall be adopted will be Meditation, Yoga, Pranayam, Counseling, Music, Vibrations and Study Circles.
Consequent upon the successful launch of the centre, the promoters would also consider carrying forward the concept in other parts in Maharashtra, Goa and rest of India.
