Renowned music writer Dave Marsh interviews the Byrds founder and prominent solo artist at the 2009 Folk Alliance convention in Memphis. In a wide-ranging conversation, McGuinn talks about his life as a teen-aged folk musician, working with David Crosby and Gene Clark, writing a musical that was never produced, Rickenbacker guitars, and all the bands he influenced.
