A short for my Transnational Cinema final. Shot in a quick and breezy manner, I sought to utilize Wong Kar-wai's stylistic techniques and quote Chungking Express and Ghost World to propose a hybridized, doubly occupied, transnational identity that is not at odds with each other, but exist in concert.
Featuring the songs "Thought I Was" by Rainer Maria and "Yeh Mera Dil Yaar Ka Diwana" by Asha Bhosle (I do not own the rights for this song, but I highly recommend purchasing them!)
Special thanks to Saregama Video Store in the East Village for letting us film there.
