My favorite song on the album too! Where's the original footage from archive.org? Link us! Creative commons stuff like this is amazing. I really wish Vimeo would allow users to designate their materials as remixable. Keep up the great work, sd&s.

I don't know how generaly are the videoclip of Radiohead but I wish this one could be an official one. That's genius.
  • sanddunesandsea 2 years ago
i think it would be much better if there was more of a storyline to it. especially when it comes to the end, it would be great if they actually arrived somewhere, for example. but i suppose thats the sacrifice when it comes to these vintage clips, and what makes the really well edited ones (which achieve a completely new storyline) so great.

Wow that really fits. The footage looks like a music-video concept more than anything. Great mash up!
  • sanddunesandsea 2 years ago
amazing, isn't it? i think the guy who directed it must've got so bored having to keep doing the same old educational videos, and just let his mind go wild on this one... or he was tripping at the time.

i think the band would love this!

you should send it over to adriaan of ateaseweb.com , a big radiohead fansite. he posted a vid i did for another song of theirs last year and i went from 400 views in a month on youtube to 4,000 overnight!
  • sanddunesandsea 2 years ago
thanks! someone actually sent it there already, i realised this when it suddenly shot to 1,000 views.

Wow, that kinda ruled. Though as someone who's spent some time on Prelinger, I'm a little angry I didn't find it first!

Yes, that is definitely one disturbing video. I'm sure if I saw it when I was younger, I'd be too scared of riding my bike in the streets.

This is really creative. I'm stoked for the experimental film class I just registered for today even more now. The repetition was great.

this footage was used by a band called dr. dog already. they're not quite so big, but they are still quite good.

they work a bit of a plot into their video and here it is.

Nice one. I actually used the same footage for a video just now. It's a crazy footage. To an artist called Crisp on his tune "Ode To Monkeys" at vimeo.com/893104

The archive is a great resource.
