Portait of a french-lao girl in Vientiane (capital city of Laos PDR).
I chose the song "Douce France/Sweet France" made by Charles Trenet as a link between french and Lao poeple when France opened its frontiers to lao refugees in 1975 during the communist revolution and helped children to grow up quietly far away from troubles and ideological fights.
I lived in Laos PDR from 2005 to 2008.
