"Cloudsniffer" afterwards blamed the lack of thermal activity for his lack of success. However, I had days earlier on a local forum pointed out to him, that even though he had recently driven to Ålleberg to parawait there in spite of a prognosis of too much wind, it seemed unwise to me to compensate for that by driving to Dingle on a day, when too little wind (and that little from the wrong direction, i.e. SW instead of S or SSE) was forecast...
