"The Copper Cowboy" is a short documentary profile of street performer Jason Joseph Gilbert. Jason's collarbone was broken when he was attacked by five guys. In order to survive while healing from his debilitating injury, Jason developed the character of "The Copper Cowboy" by standing still. He was eventually making more money performing this character than he did in his sheet metal job. Jason dreams of one day owning a home where he can live with his girlfriend Nic, but for now -- its performing on the streets and struggling to find a place to sleep each night.
