At the end of 2008, I participated in the Rome Sustainable Food Project. I am inspired to share this experience by making a documentary that will demonstrate how farm, kitchen and consumer are bound together by the cycle of life.
The idea for this documentary stems from the above video, comprised of random footage taken during my final days in Rome. Assembled as a gift for the kitchen staff to remember the time we shared, it was made with a point and shoot digital camera and iMovie. Viewing this footage, I realized how powerful it would be to make a short film about the project using professional equipment.
