Shoe designer Minna Parikka has won a 30.000 € prize in the “Timangi 2011” competition which is targeted at young Finnish entrepreneurs. The competition is organized by Finnish Ministry of Employment and Economy.
Minna Parikka has built her internationally recognized brand over the past five years. Her company, Minna Parikka Shoes, currently employs five people and her shoes are exported to 17 countries. According to the jury, Parikka has shown “that pure determination can lead to success in highly competitive markets.”
