North Vader

The second HELVETIC BACKCOUNTRY trip far away from our Alpine homes went up North. Ready to shred at almost 70 degrees Northern latitude, the Vader Family reunited in the Lyngen Alps in Norway. After heavy Arctic low pressure systems that almost killed the group's adventure, the sun lighted up the landscape, and Northern lights set the stage for some of the best rides the Vaders ever experienced.

This is a puritan low cost movie - no helis, no snowcats - just hiking and snowboarding; just the way we like it.
