This work is from an ongoing series of video snippets depicting fleeting dramas found amid chaotic domestic routines. It is made simply by stringing together digital photos with cross dissolve, with layers of white noises found in kitchen—fridge and fan—as soundtrack.
As with most other works, my goal in creating Easter was to carve out a space where I can stop the clock for a while, like an ebb that suspends a floating leaf for a moment before releasing it back to the current. This is instigated by a conviction that art is a way of life, not of commerce.
