This all came together completely unplanned...i was in the middle of an edit on a typical work day, and through a Facebook status update saw that a dear friend and client was just heading to the hospital, his gorgeous wife {whom i adore to bits} was in labor!!!! I literally posted back, grabbed my super 8mm camera, luckily had some film sitting in the fridge and chased a hail marry wish i have always had...to film a labor and birth!
Racing across Toronto i got a hold of him which was a surprise to me, told him my hopes, his wife in labor pains nods agreeing to the idea and well the rest was up to the hospitals good graces in allowing me access!
The film i now made has inspired me to offer unique Baby Film Packs that will allow me and my couples to tell the story of the first 9months to the lead-up to birth, labor and Babies first few days of life back at home!
