This animation is an embodied and multimodal representation of the idiom speak/talk until blue in the face. The idiom is used in contexts such as "s/he could speak until s/he was blue in the face but the jury is never going to believe the client is innocent." The idiom's meaning is that a person could speak until they ran out of air but the people/person they are speaking to are never going to be convinced otherwise. This embodied poem was made by recording 3D motion paths with the body in the SMALLab and then using them to animate text.
