Mount Pulag 2011

Most clips recorded using my GoPro HD Hero w/ its water-proof case. Some clips shot w/ my 60D, when it wasn't raining. Hah, bummer!

Ver Pen 1 month agoHi Mike, too bad you missed the summit. No worries though it will always be there. Pulag is my most climbed mountain in the Philippines--having done it 4 or 5 times in 1988 alone. My last climb there was Dec. 26-31, 1990. Mayaya lang ako, basta libre, larga na! I have also seen the mountain in all kinds of weather--even signal #2--thus we were dubbed at PALMC the "StormTrekkers"! Done almost all the traverse trails too, except the Tawangan--hindi ko na inabot yon. One thing that I surely miss is sleeping at the summit--a real mountaineers treat! Cheers and blues skies! Keep on trekking! -

1 month ago Hi cle, thanks! Yeah too bad, first timers curse daw ako that time. Haha. Pero yah true, it won't go anywhere anyway. Maybe around summer time balik kami. My friends second time na nila still haven't gone to the summit and witness the "sea of clouds". Hopefully by summer time swertehon na sa weather. I heard from papa nga and auntie how much an avid outdoors man you are. It sure feels great to be one with nature, we just did Mt. Batulao last weekend and experienced my first summit. Truly exhilarating.. Is PALMC is active here in Ph? Puhon on our future trips diha sana we could do camping. Been dreaming of Yosemite, sana soon Lord-willing.. :)
