This experimental short was produced in part fulfilment of the Honours degree in Media at the University of Adelaide in 2005. Premiered at the 6th Cine vis Cinema International Film Festival, Tokyo.

Featuring in-car footage of real drivers, driving around the virtual locations of Fern Bay and Blackwood, this short film pitches an aggressive XRT drifter against a cautious LX racer. What happens when they meet?

Filmed on a nil budget, the interior car shots were filmed inside a 2004 Birkin S3 Clubman and a 2001 Hyundai Accent, and were keyed into a 3D environment via tarp. Filmed in my car port (open garage) and backyard, and the racing simulator, Live For Speed. The master copy achieved a fluid 50fps, although some of the smoothness has been lost in the vimeo transfer.
