    nice! i'm just learning processing. have one video up using arduino. pretty boring, but i'm stoked i can do my own things with it. working with strings and grabbing feeds now. fun stuff.

    Cool, thanks! Processing is a great environment ... tons of libraries for grabbing data from external sources. Since you are just learning Processing, did you check out the new book from Reas and Fry? It is a bit lite (IMHO) in some areas (wish they had more covering simulations and physics), but still an excellent resource and well worth a read.

    your animation is great, mike ... i like the vibrant elements and the final organisation is amazing ... looks very naturally ... what happens if you animation is longer ... does the result change any further ?

    Gero, if the animation runs longer, then the huddled mass of nodes spins around the center of the screen and pulsates. You can kind of see the movement residue in the screenshot on Flickr.
