Black holes have a ridiculous amount of mass, so they are the "heavyweights" of spacetime distortion. You can still orbit a black hole, just like you can orbit a star or planet. The big difference with black holes is that they are so massive that there is a distance from the black hole (called the event horizon) from which the escape speed is greater than the speed of light. This means that nothing, not even light can escape. Because of this, the black hole itself can only be "seen" by gravitational lensing.
