On 15 December the last of three Boeing 707's from the NATO AWACS force made the last operational landing at it's home-base at Geilenkirchen AB in Germany after a supply run to F.O.B. Aktion (Prevesa) in Greece.
The aircraft was retired on 22 December and will be scrapped and parts used to train student engineers.
