Went to the Whole foods market at the Kahala Mall, near Honolulu, HI the other day. The week before I bought a reduced price steak, already cooked to perfection and ready to eat- delicious! So I go back to see if I can "get lucky" once again, when I find out from an employee that the corporate office sent out a memo effectively ending the practice of reducing foods for quick sale and instead, as I witnessed firsthand- they went into the store with a garbage can to literally dump this food into a garbage can, while the store was still open and shopping was going on. What a waste!!
