Emerge Massachusetts is an organization recruiits and trains Democratic women to run for office.Each year they graduate about 20 women from their program. This year, 2011, US Representative Niki Tsongas and Boston City Coucillor Ayanna Pressley spoke at the graduation, each speaking movingly about the importance of Emerge and giving the women some key points in how they should pursue their future goals.
