Who and what are ‘Pengkid’? The word doesn't even exist in our dictionary. So, who invented the word that describes a certain lifestyle? Where does this term come from?

Whatever is the source of the term ‘pengkid’ it has become part of our street vocabulary used by not only the public but also media. And media gives credence to terms and words picked from the streets.

So what is ‘pengkid’? Well, it’s a term to describe women who behave like men.

But is it as simple as that?
