Here is a quick piece we shot after doing another shoot (Morning Run) with the same model (Mandy Watson). Spent about 20 minutes getting some quick shots that we could cut back together into a fashion/lifestyle clip. We wanted a grainy high contrast sample that could be a backdrop to a commercial or fashion brand to use in our demo reel.

We shot it with the canon 7D with a 60mm 2.8 nikkor lens. We used a stripped down Redrock Micro rig that we build with parts from our full size rig (DSLR Cinema Bundle + Shoulder Rig). If you look at the grading sample images below you will see the base footage (shot with the Technicolor profile) and the graded side by side. We used Apples Final Cut Pro to edit and DiVinci Resolve (free edition. Still testing it out vs. Color which we have been using) for grading. We used a Zoom h4n for sound pickups that we did after we shot the footage.

Over the next few months we will be shooting may more of these quick :30/:60 second concepts that we have and look forward to sharing them and our experiences creating them.
