Mount Warner Vineyards is a new microwinery located in Massachusetts' Pioneer Valley. The winery is owned by Gary Kamen, a longtime winemaker who planted a small two acre vineyard near his home in Hadley, MA.

Kamen believes that region's terrior is ideal for growing French hybrid grapes including Traminette, Chardonel, Cayuga, Leon Millot, and Marechal Foch, and has produced a number of award-winning wines from each.

In this segment, Kamen explains why the location of his vineyard lends itself to grape-growing in the Northeast and discusses how winemaking at Mount Warner Vineyards is a delicate balance between viticulture, chemistry, and a winemaker's experience and intuition.

Mount Warner Vineyards is located in Hadley, MA. Private tastings and tours are available by appointment. Please contact for more information.
