Our first venture into the realm of motion controlled HDR time lapses. I Have to say this turned out quite well! Shot on January 1st 2012 with a Nikon D700 and 17-35mm 2.8 all on top of the wonderful Dynamic Perception Stage Zero motion dolly!
Technique: Played with some settings in the house before venturing out and came up with this... Shot a five photo AEB with 1 EV between each image. Actually went against the consensus and shot in aperture priority @ f11 so that I could shoot longer after the sun went down. The D700's metering system is great and have never had flicker issues doing this. Shot for a little over an hour and a half. 3200 images was the result. Batch processed them in Photomatix Pro's HDRsoft and just dropped them into After Effects to compile. No editing other than that.
