"THE MUTE JOKER"
This is the story of a boy happy, carefree, a bit 'crazy; he had a lot of friends who entertained every day with his little show.
His irony was thin and sharp as a pin, it was hard to understand, but everyone had fun with his grimaces, imitations and no-sense phrases.
He became a Joker, a figure such as those printed on the cards: the cap with bells, make-up eyes and a smile always on his face. His card was pulled out each time that his friends needed him.
One day Joker began to feel strange: the tongue was paralyzed and his heart beat to the rhythm of rock.
He was in love.
Do you realize? Just him, a joker who can't show his feelings!
At first his mask continued to remain stuck on his face like climber to a rope under a ravine.
The fear of letting go was at the highest level, but day after day his defense began to fall and the hold on the rope came loose.
And predictably, Joker fell straight into the ravine!!
Lost the rope, he could only adapt to that environment so hostile and dreaded.
At the beginning that world had seemed so perfect that he could not imagine a better one. In that wonderful trap he felt protected, accepted and loved for what he was.
One day, suddenly, his Queen transformed into an icy stranger.
That deep volcano, which until then had kept Joker, exploded and he was beaten, shot up, literally launched out of the abyss. He became very ill and the wounds bled for days, months and beyond.
He had been abandoned, refused, discarded, deleted.
GAME OVER
The game was closed.
He looked inside himself and tried to understand what he was wrong.
He decided to remove the surface layer showing the people, tore off his mask, took off his old skin and dug so much in itself to find a jewel, his true soul that had never been discovered. It wasn't easy to accept his nature: he was neither funny, nor a person of the company, he was just a poor deluded fool who thought that he could spend his life in superficiality.
He realized that he was an alien, he doesn't speak a language understandable and then decided that he would remain mute forever. He was bored to entertain humans, he was tired of being teased by them, exploited, mocked, misunderstood.
He took a needle and thread and began to sew his mouth, and then he covered it up with a black tape so as not to see the points... had become uncaring, yes, but not to the point of doing horror at those stupid humans.
From now on he would communicate only through gestures, glances, letters, e-mail if it was really necessary, would be isolated as possible from all the earthly from the mocking smile.
Some months passed, but he understood that doing so wasn't better, the problem was not resolved.
What then was the winning combination? Discovering it was like taking a trip into the depths of the Indian Ocean. He decided to remove the tape from his mouth and take the path that had been interrupted.
He tried to bandage one eye to start observing the world from a different point of view: maybe he was just looking at the Earth from the wrong angle. Or maybe the right way to reach those depths is just see through that blinded eye."
