Sunset on New Years Eve was at 5:01pm. I tried to get this nice emotimo moco shot but the damn camera's program mode got nudged into aperture priority. So I guess on the positive side of things, this movie demonstrates why you do not want auto exposure on for time-lapse photography.... luminance flickering throughout.
But this brings up the point... on a "professional" camera like this 5D Mark2, it's way too easy for things like this to change accidentally. I've been burned on focus due to accidentally changing the diopter's focus. These sort of things should be locked down.
