Cool, looking forward to checking it out! the grass field with the sunlight was perfect and the CC was solid. I have a photoshoot this weekend but indoors, I'm going to try to capture a few pieces of her through out the shoot to see if I can come up with a motion portrait.

Awesome work, really love the overall feeling.
Reminds me of a bit of branding visualisation for fashion.

Also enjoy the use of Bullet Looks and the diffrent angle's in the shots.

Thank you so much, is there any constructive criticism you can offer? I plan on making a few more of different models this month.

Sure, i personaly find a music choice having a big influence in the overall feel for something like this. Maybe something more ambient, or classic ( piano, violion etc ) would be more suited.

Altough i'm not great at editing and such ( more 3D animation / after effects visuals ) i do have some tips / thoughts i would like to share.

I personaly have a weakness for macro shots. I guess you could use some shots in macro style from the eyes / hands and so on, to give something rich with details, yet having a human feel to it.

Something i also noticed ( after watching it 6 times or so haha, it's so good ) that you often tilt the camera. Maybe you wanted to go for some effect, i can't judge that. But i do find it somehow "strange". I mean, i almost have the urge to tilot my own head to compensate for the camera movement.

Furthermore, i also noticed you tryed to have the Bullet looks interact with the audio. At least that's what i guess. Since i saw the girls smiling when the song went more up-tempo, maybe use some of after effects habbits of converting audio to keyframes. And use them to slightly animate between the music & video.

Maybe another thing to think of, is a concept. I dont hope i'm being harsh or offending you. I mean it more like a bit of story based, some representation of a certain feeling you want the viewer to develop during the overwhole clip.

I hope i have been of some help, sorry if i dont really make much sense, since enlgish isn't my native language ( it's dutch ). But i am paitienlty waiting for more projects, really liked it. And would love to see what comes next, your clip is the first i have seen focussed on motion portrait, and to be honest. Since then i'm now searching trough vimeo for similiar results. Really inspirational and offcourse captivating the urge to develop further in motion.

Good luck with it all, and i will add you to my list to follow ;)

Thank you very much! Your advise will be very very helpful and no its not too harsh. I look forward to more input on my next videos! And I really hope this video will help to start a bigger movement for Motion Portraits. Also, to answer your advise about having a concept, that's spot on. With each video through a combination of color and visuals and music I want to communicate an emotion. With this one, I guess being the first one, it wasn't as noticeable. I guess this one I wanted more of a feeling of warmth and inspiration and that sort of calm you get at sunset

Well i must agree that you pretty much nailed to overall warmness you were going for. Most of all with the cornfield shot, and offcourse the overall colorcorrection.

And i'm glad i could be of any help. And if needed for any more supportive ctiricism, just give a shout. It's all part of evolving right :)

Really looking forward to new work. Keep it up!
