After The fall was a script written by Chris Thompson in spring of '08. Chris laid all of the ground work, from writing the script, to casting, to finding equipment and crew and funding, to locating wardrobe and props, securing insurance, finalizing budgets and contracts, and ultimately Directing and then editing (both audio and video) the finished trailer as well as several "bonus scenes". This was a collaborative effort by a great group of determined, talented independent filmmakers in Austin and Corpus Christi, Texas, and Sweden who devoted many hours to make this happen. The trailer was shot in September '08 to be used as a promotional piece to raise funds for the feature film "After the Fall". It was shot on the RED Camera.

A brave team of volunteers found locations, music talent, art talent, set construction, photography, P.A'd and suffered through Christine's catering (sorry, your pancreas will recover). These volunteers were the point of contact with the city of Austin, the Austin Film society, and the Texas Film Commission, and Emerson Electric. They are: Greg Risley, Christine Thompson, Jim Thompson, Nick Thompson. In addition, the actors went above and beyond their normal jobs by volunteering to create costumes, secure trusted talent (Michele Williams), and doing a fantastic job. Incredibly, some refused payment, preferring instead to contribute back. With their help, something beautiful has been created.

Finally, Chris Thompson collaborated with the Swedish uber talented musician and stuntman Fredrik Blom over several months, who graciously lent his time and compositions. The final touch was the vfx work Chris did with the help of web/graphic artist Aaron Roessler, also a volunteer. Viva La Vida.
