As an exploration of physical interface, this standalone reactive object is the beginning of a series that investigates ways in which objects can play and manipulate sound using external input and data. Sound playback is controlled within this object by moving it through space and changing its orientation.
This prototype is battery operated and the sound is played from an SD card attached to an Arduino board. In its current state, the prototype contains an 1/8" audio line out so that the sound can run directly to amplification and recording devices.
