This is an excerpt from the first Tiny Hands project, POPVISUALIZATION 1.0, which asks participants to visually interpret pop songs using common art supplies (markers, crayons and finger paint). While trying to deduce a song’s form, color and overall feeling, participants become active, rather than passive, listeners. Also, it’s fun to drink tons of wine and color with friends. This footage shows a variety of physical and aesthetic interpretations of the song “Wham City” by Dan Deacon.
