Here's a glimpse at an afternoon adventure.

Back in November, my friends, Chris and Starielle, decided to head to the Blue Hills to spend an afternoon hiking and shooting some photos for a class. I joined them with my camera to test out shooting for the first time with an old Rokkor 24mm lens and newly installed magic lantern.

I had nothing specific in mind when shooting these clips other than just trying to capture little moments along the way. About two months later, I revisited these clips and put this together.

This was all shot on my Canon T3i with a Rokkor 24mm 2.8 lens via a Fotodiox adapter. I did some grading just within FCP 7. Shot at 30fps, slowed to 24. All shots up until the top of the hill were done handheld. After that, I used my Canon monopod.
