Working with filmmaker Colton Tran on the family adventure film Monstrosity was a great experience. I was hired as a VFX Director/Animator for the opening scenes of the film which consisted of planet earth colliding with a monster planet, meshing the two worlds together. Many other VFX Directors were hired to work on other parts of the film. We worked separately and simultaneously to meet deadlines. It was very fun to watch the progress of other artists as we worked to create an imaginary world. Colton did a great job of ensuring that consistency maintained throughout the artwork. It was very fun to take this project from mere pencil scribbles to wondrous scenes.
