Welcome to the very first Blue Ribbon Vision. Anyone that caught Ben Kweller + The Watson Twins at Turner Hall Ballroom on Wednesday, February 18th knows that it was a special show. We arranged to meet up with Ben after his set to do a little interview and (hopefully) a performance. Of course, like any good artist, Ben left every drop of performance on stage, leaving us quite sure that we'd have to settle for just an interview. We ascended to a secret locale within Turner Hall for an after show beverage, good conversation, and fun with a staff member's Polaroid camera. A little coaxing and Kweller's good-natured charm resulted in this absolutely stunning version of "Ballad Of Wendy Baker" off the recently released (and highly recommended!) Changing Horses. Here's our vision, through our lens, to give you a peek behind the curtain of some of the artists we love.
