It was a special year in a lot of ways, marked by nights spent exploring Seattle with friends, visits back to Portland and two great backpacking vacations, one to France in May and one to Mexico in October. It was the year I played Ultimate in four different countries and on two US coasts. It was the first year I got a phone that could shoot HD video, meaning that I always had a way to document my life.
Finally, 2011 marked the last year I will likely spend in the United States for quite a while. Europe was calling, and I had to answer. The clips in this compilation are my last memories of home.
To all featured in this video - whether we've known each other for years or we met in 2011, whether we saw each other every day or we only met once - THANK YOU for making this year a brilliant one, and I hope this video is a sign of the profound effect you all had on my life. Here's to 2012.
