Showcasing some of the outstanding work carried out by Northern Ireland's fast emerging creative industries over the past year, Morrow Communications has produced, on behalf of the NI Bureau, this short film which premiered to an audience of 400 at the Washington Chamber of Commerce on St Patrick's Day 2011.
The film celebrates recent investment successes in film and TV, web applications, animation and music, confirming NI's global position as a key business location for creative industry projects. The four and a half minute film is split into four visual chapters and includes; clips from blockbuster HBO series 'Game of Thrones' whixh was filmed in Northern Ireland; clips from the 3D smash hit animation 'Avatar; whose animator Greg Maguire is from NI; extracts from indigenous online gaming publishers; and music from global music success stories such as Snow Patrol, Ash and Duke Special, among others.
