this was the first complete project I made in film class... it was done by drawing with a marker on a stack of about 250 pieces of printer paper. Each piece of paper was photographed with my hands in the shot using a bolex, exposing anywhere from 1 to 4 frames at a time. After it was processed a few quick edits yield this. It was lit with two desk lamps to the north of the shot. And a tripod was used to hold the bolex above my desk. A helper clicked the camera button depending on my direction of "one" "two" "three" or "four" depending on how many frames needed to be exposed per sheet of paper. and another replaced the sheets at times when it would have been hard to get my hands back in place, had they been moved. So...
