The tall, skinny alien.
A couple years ago, I woke up with a shape in my head. A long, scrawny body hidden under a robe with big, clunky robo hands. I had no idea what he was supposed to be, so I started sketching managed to work out a rough idea, at least, even though I still didn't know what it was, I knew what it looked like, and after putting it off for such a long time, I finally went ahead and modeled the danged thing.
I hadn't originally planned on giving him tentacles, but look at a that robe and tell me how to fit hips and a pair of legs in that, let alone make him walk.
I admit that the animation is less than I'd hoped, but I really only included that to prove that he was rigged and could be moved, even if the movements themselves sucked. But, hey, It's not bad for one morning.
Even though the modeling doesn't really put a lot of skill on display, it does look like what I wanted it to, so I'm happy with it. Really, this whole thing was more of a "Let's have fun with shader networks and expressions!" kind of thing.
