Registered Vessel, MENDIP, at The Waterways Museum, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire on 6 September 2011.

MENDIP spent much of her life carrying chocolate crumb between the Cadbury factories at Knighton and Bournville in Birmingham. She has been restored at the Museum's Heritage Boatyard and helped by a £10,000 donation from Cadbury.

This video clip shows some of the trainees working on the vessel, as part of the Keeping History Afloat project - a Heritage Lottery Funded project at the National Waterways Museum, Ellesmere Port.

The National Waterways Museum received £110K from Heritage Lottery Fund's 'Skills for the Future' programme to launch a training programme at the Heritage Boatyard. For more information on this project, please visit shipshapenetwork.org.uk.
