A whole heap of talented people were involved in this MTV 2011 Brand Refresh Reel.
Everything about the MTV 2011 refresh had been thoroughly considered and brilliantly executed by a team of talented people - and it was my job to help explain that.
Graphically pointing out why certain decisions have been made and highlighting various aspects of others. I animated the 'explanatory' sections of the film in an effort to point out the thought that went in to every decision. From how the MTV logo has subtly evolved - to what the thorough brand guidelines demand of print, online and onscreen work.
I was Art Directed by Carlos Carrasco and Dylan Griffith at MTV World Design Studio Milan and the final film was edited and put together by Alex Holden. Music by Alan Boorman (Wevie).
