This is Wat Prasat Nokor. It is close to a thousand years old and is located at the outskirts of Kampong Cham in Cambodia. Local legend as told on the walls tells of a boy that was eaten by a fish. The fish then swam to China, where it was caught and the boy was saved. He decided to return to Kampong Cham and is now said to be the reason why the city has a large Chinese population. A Wat is a mixture of a temple and a monastery and was something that was not appreciated during the Khmer Rough regime, 1975-79. That ensured this Wat a black coating, but that is now gone.
All in all, this is a nice little Wat located in an area that is otherwise mostly known for its surrounding rubber plantations.
