My roommate gave me the idea for a stunt I did today. Launched a speedflying wing off the top of a mountain, flew out over the valley, chopped the wing and immediately deployed a base jumping parachute. Didn't have much time for free fall because I wasn't that high off the ground. I'd say I was about 600ft when I cutaway, but a friend from the ground said it looked like 200ft. Who knows, had a 20 second parachute ride so it was relatively safe. Will get footage from the ground looking up next time. Also, this might be the FIRST TIME this stunt has ever been done. People have been cutting away and jumping from paragliders before, but I don't think it's been done from a speedflying wing and definitely not with skis on.
