Inspired by a dream of awaiting nuclear destruction in a glass shelter, Shelter developed over a decade as a series of performances in (often site-specific) installations.
The performance elements were converted to videodance for an exhibition in Tokyo in 1999; the slide animation into digital video for Monaco Dance Forum in 2000. This version combines the Tokyo installation view and a media-contained version (2002). Also exhibited in Rencontres Internationales Paris-Berlin (2001) and in New Territories Festival, Glasgow (2002).
Performers: Daniel Lynch Millner, Barry Morse & Rika Ohara
Music: John Payne
