Great Video, Nice work, for those who cannot attend an excellent occation like this Prabhu like you give the opportunity to view it.
I had the best beginning of day today by watching this video. The music seems un-devotional, but you made it perfectly devotional by using it in Krishna's service. The music perfectly complemented the occassion. It depicted a fallen souls struggle to get out of the material well just by looking at the sun and moon like light of The Pancha-tattva.

it's the matter of understanding the intention and ultimately the taste.

I agree 100%. It's difficult for people in general to comprehend the intricacy of video editing. Trying to edit together a 6 minute montage using kirtan would be very difficult indeed. Especially as there 3 kirtan leaders. If I pick one, I might offend the others. {:-O
Anyway, as mentioned in other replies, a new 110 minute DVD was completed last night and it contains ALL the kirtans. :-)

Prananathaji, your video skillz have always amazed me. Nice work. And I happened to like the soundtrack. Really, you could put those clips to a Barry Manilow live album and I'd still watch it (but maybe with a little less volume).

I totally agree with what Alan Zeko posted. Mahaprabhu's mercy should be shared with all, especially non-devotees..the video and soundtrack just do that..All glories to your creative mind!!
I was going to share this with all of my non devotee friends but I can't now after seeing some negative comments, arguments etc.
Hopefully, in future..u have ur own site where such negative stuff can be blocked.
For now, just ignore this negative feedback..you have really made Prabhupad proud. Don't doubt that.

Although I've seen this short video probably hundreds of times, it still amazes me each time I watch it.
A full length, 110 minute DVD was completed last night. It contains all the unedited footage of the abhiseka and all the kirtans.
That too is very powerful.

I'm planning to spend more time in India making devotional films, starting with 3 months next year, possibly 6 months the year after. This has been my devotional lifetime dream and the devotees are certainly giving me bucket loads of confidence and inspiration with their positive comments.

This morning my wife and I had the unbelievably good fortune of viewing the Panchatattva Maha Abhiseka video. Our last visit to India was November, 2003 and we are most acutely feeling separation from the holy dhama. By your efforts, we were able to bring that most auspicious event into our household and thus became both purified and enlivened by this transcendental visual spectacle.
I also found the music to be an appropriate offering to the lotus feet of Sri Panchattva, as it underscored the magnificence of the event and Their presence on the screen. We plan to share this experience with others in and outside of our community in Alachua, Fla.
Please keep up the good work!

Please help. I work on Mac, and I do not know how to download your great Maha movie in HD format and burn for DVD player. This format I just can open in iTunes and programs like divix and VLC player, but it is not smooth, it is stucking like slide show......???

The video clip was created on a Mac so it should play properly on your Mac. You can play with QuickTime player version 7. Please have all other programs closed when you play as this may be causing the playback problems you describe.
Creating a DVD copy is a bit technical for me to describe here.
Let me know if the playback problems persist.

Small help prabhu : I am unable to download the video ,even after registering with vimeo . can you pl. help me out on it . Also let me know if the 110 footage is ready for distribution and if any charges attached to it and how do i procure it.
