Traveling Guru Darrol Bryant takes fifteen North Americans on a journey to discover the birthplace of most of the world's major religions. As they set out for their cross-cultural journey to explore India's ancient and modern sacred cultures, Darrol explains his philosophy of travel and the reasons behind his immersion approach to dress, food and accommodation. He takes a small group of men to his favourite tailor in the Muslim district of Bangalore as Mat, one of the travellers narrates his experiences of the outing. On the way, Darrol stops to talk with a shop keeper. In the tailor shop Dale is measured for custom Indian clothes. Meanwhile, Emma Darrol’s daughter, does a little shopping on her own and explains how she starts by finding a vendor she likes, a doorway that often leads to new connections and friendships.
