Hey Josh, you left out Alice's initial response to your question. I'll remind you. It was "Hell no! It started a conversation, didn't it?" Just like this one. Nice job Tina!

    Kevin,

Indeed. I'm a slut for conversation. Though how your qualifiers change the substance of my critique (being provocative in selling books is somehow morally superior to being provocative when selling wine) I'm not sure! Love your juice!

I guess I missed the whole moral superiority part of the conversation, but she was on a book tour, after all. So, getting attention was certainly the idea. How was your '08 vintage?

I prefer Jonathan Nossiter's version of this exact same question.

An amusing wine video. Kind of one sided though.

    Cheers,

Thanks for your comments, everyone. If you don't know the back story, I made this vid on the fly for a presentation I gave for the American Wine Society conference (with an audience of 50). Three-figure budget, 1.5 shooting days (during harvest!), 1.5 days of editing. Thanks to Josh and Tyler, and all the other great wine bloggers, for unleashing it on cyberspace. This has been fun!

This is great! I applaud all of the participants. However, it's still ironic that the majority of content was about wine style dictated by media or wine producer preference - not based on consumer input. People of the wine industry: follow your tweets and make wine for the people who actually purchase and enjoy them.
