This is more test footage of a few of my favourite things (shot from my dining table) that I've been using to practise in Sony Vegas. I know the footage is pretty bad, but it's all I have to work with at the moment. I've been playing around with some of Vegas' features and I'm finally beginning to get the basics down.
There is sooooo much to learn and it's moving along, except that my sorry little tripod is killin' me. :-( As bad as this footage is now, it was a LOT worse, believe me. I edited out as much of the jerkiness as I could and tried to cover some of it with crossfades (limited editing skills at the moment), but this tripod is a mess.
I've been using it for my DSLR camera with no problems, but it's definitely not good for video. The good news is that I have a new tripod on the way (thanks for the recommendations Scott) that should deliver much smoother panning and tilting. I should have it in a couple of days; in time for some weekend shooting.
