This is a project partly inspired by the purchase of a 50 mm prime lens.I knew it was a good lens for street photography. It also turned out to be an excellent portrait lens. I took these pictures to challenge my shyness when shooting in the streets. For the most part I asked permission to take the subjects picture, but some were taken under the motto:"better to ask forgiveness than permission". Some were also taken on the move, with no time to speak to the subject.I only had 5 people saying no to being photographed during this project. It took me 7 months to finish, this is photography done on good days. This is because the approach to people has to be polite, enthusiastic and always smiling a lot!:-)
All of these 100 pictures are of total strangers to me,and all pictures are taken with Nikon D700 and Nikkor 50mm f/1,4 G lens.
