The final component to the video is that it premiered as part of one of KCRW's new blog series, Which Way L.A. There's a more lengthy article there and a map of all the hip shops in L.A. Thanks, KCRW for getting this online!

This is a mini-doc I co-produced, shot, and edited for KCRW, a great radio station located in Los Angeles, with friend and producer Saul Gonzalez. It's an overview of the emerging independent record store scene across Los Angeles.

The piece focuses on three stores and a few of their patrons. Stores include Wombleton Records in Highland Park, Permanent Records in Eagle Rock, and Vacation Vinyl in Silverlake.

Also, I shoot and edit for a living. So, if you are need a project produced or are looking for an editor to cut your project, check out my site at 5thwall.tv. I have 4 edit suites and an VO record booth/mix suite ready to work on your projects. Thanks!

This was a lot of fun to shoot and cut. Hope you enjoy it!
